Ronald Jared (1941-2012), coined "The Eternal Optimist" spent many of mornings stopping by Building Bridges to tell stories, offer support, and help brainstorm ideas on how to help families in need. The Ron Jared Memorial Fund sponsored many families who bridged out of poverty due to his family's generosity.
Ron was loved and adored by his family, friends, and the community at large. "If you didn't like Ron Jared, I assumed there was something wrong with you. He was a great man in so many ways. Ron inspired many and it is an honor to give the Ron Jared Honorary Award every year to recipients that have the same great qualities", said Gina Elias, CEO for Building Bridges of Oklahoma.
